The Flame Manipulator is a story that is told from more than one point of view. The villain of the series is a man by the name of Frederick Kingston. The main characters are Cassie and Brady Wilson, and Conrad Howard. Cassie is finishing her last year of college, and her brother Brady and his partner Conrad are Detectives with the Mt. Claire Police Department. The tale intertwines the lives of other colorful characters from Cassie’s hometown of Benton. The Flame Manipulator starts the story with Cassie making a surprise trip home on college break and after an uplifting welcome from her golden retriever, she finds out her brother who is a detective, is missing. With the help of her brother’s partner, Conrad, she revisits her childhood home and realizes nothing was as it appeared. Cassie must unravel the identity of a maniac who likes to play a life and death game with unsuspecting victims using his favorite weapon of explosives.
